Inventory Management Base

$59

The Inventory Management Base holds your SKU master and current stock position in one workbook, then auto-computes on-hand value, days of cover, reorder status, and ABC tier. The Dashboard surfaces what to reorder now and what's tying up cash.

Works in Excel & Google Sheets

Template includes both versions. One price, no add-ons.

How it works

The tracker splits your SKU setup from your week-to-week stock counts, so reference data and live numbers never collide.

  1. Items: Your SKU master: code, name, category, cost, price, lead time, reorder point, reorder quantity, and MOQ
  2. Stock: Your current on-hand position. Enter quantity and 90-day unit velocity per SKU; the tab computes value, days of cover, status, and ABC tier automatically
  3. Dashboard: KPI tiles, reorder priorities, and the SKUs with the most cash tied up
  4. Reference: Integrity checks and a glossary defining each metric

Steps to use it

  1. Open Items and enter your SKU master, cost, price, lead time, reorder point, and MOQ for each SKU
  2. Open Stock and enter on-hand quantity plus 90-day units sold for each SKU
  3. Review the computed status, days of cover, and ABC tier on Stock
  4. Open Dashboard for the priority list, then sort Stock by reorder priority when planning purchase orders

Status logic is built in: OUT OF STOCK at zero or below, ORDER NOW at or below reorder point, OVERSTOCKED above 180 days of cover, and OK otherwise. ABC tiers rank SKUs by revenue contribution: A items are the top 20%, B items the next 30%, C items the bottom 50%, so you know where to put planning effort.
